COVID-19: Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe wishes Akeredolu quick recovery
The only female governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Mrs. Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe, has prayed for the quick recovery of the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN .
Akeredolu had on Tuesday joined the list of people who tested positive for the novel COVID-19 and is currently under self isolation.
Ajasin-Anifowoshe in a statement said COVID-19 has become a common enemy and a grave danger to humanity and global economy.
She expressed solidarity with the Governor and wishes him a quick recovery and God’s protection.
She also advised Nigerians to keep on observing the safety measures that have been put in place by health professionals.
“I pray to Almighty God to heal Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN and protect his family as he goes through the self isolation. Similarly, I pray for the protection of all the citizens of the state from the COVID-19 scourge.
“COVID-19-is not a death sentence, people have recovered from it. We will get over it , but we must continue to ensure that we follow all safety measures like washing of hands, social-distancing and other safety standards as recommended by our health professionals”.
