The Screening Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC at the Party Secretariat in Abuja has described the only female aspirant in the forthcoming Ondo Governorship election, Mrs Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe as a dedicated and committed party member.
The committee while conducting the screening for Mrs Anifowoshe commended her dress code which showcase the beauty of the APC as a party.
The Screening committee saluted her courage and perseverance at ensuring that APC remain strong in the Ondo State.
The former ACN State Chairman in Ondo state was affirmed as a true party woman who has used her wealth of experience to promote the virtues of APC and tenets of democratic governance.
Commenting on the exercise, Mrs Jumoke Ajasin-Anifowoshe commended the committee for a thorough and well done job.
Mrs Ajasin-Anifowoshe called for a level playing field for all aspirants in the overall interest of all and the development of the nation’s democracy.
Meanwhile at a meeting with the Aspirants, all except the incumbent governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu accepted the direct mode for the conduct of the party primary election slated for July 20th.
The Governor said he was only prepared for the indirect form of primaries.
The Committee however promised to make its decision known to the public adding that it will be fair to all.
