Ondo State Government has established Auga Agro Business City, in Auga, Akoko North East Local Government.
This is part of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, determination in his efforts of actively engaging the youths in Agricultural practices and becoming self-sustaining Agric-entreprenurs.
Disclosing this information in her office yesterday, was Secretary to State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu during the signing of Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU ) on Concession Agreement on Auga Agro Business City between Ondo State Government and Rynesis Agro Allied Industries Limited for the revamp and operational management of Auga Agro Business City facility for the rearing and fattening farm which included cultivation of maize, cassava and production of catfish.
It is note worthy that, Ondo State is endowed with favourable climatic conditions suitable for cassava, rice, fruits, vegetables, plantain etc.
The SSG who praised the Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Agriculture and Agribusiness, Pastor Akin Olotu and ONDIPA team for putting in a formidable agreement, charged the management of Rynesis Agro Allied Industries Limited to commence work immediately in line with the terms of agreement in the MOU.
She assured the investor of Mr Governor’s determination in ensuring the safety of her citizens, investment promotions and for business to thrive.
