The All Progressives Congress for Ondo North Senatorial District, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, has begun his ‘thank you visit’ to the six Local Government Areas in the District.
Ipinsagba, had during the last APC primary, emerged as the party’s candidate, defeating his closest rival, Alex Ajipe.
In his visit to Isua, the headquarters of Akoko South East Local Government Area of the State, on Wednesday, he warmly received by the party members in the area.
Speaking at the gathering, the Party’s Local Government Chairman, Mr. Kehinde Obanla, promised to mobilize massively for the success of the APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Jide, Ipinsagba, and Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The leaders of the party also assured the senatorial candidate Ipinsagba, of total and maximum winning across the poling units in the Local Government Area.
In his response, Ipinsagba thanked the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and a Hon. Bunmi Tunji-Ojo representing Akoko North East and North West Federal Constituency, for their unflinching support during the primary election.
“We have not come to campaign, we are only here to appreciate your efforts towards our winning. Indeed, we saw that your council actually gave us 100% votes during the primaries and this generosity we must not take for granted,”
“When the actual time comes, we shall surely come back to this council as we strongly believe in the electorates of Akoko and Ondo North senatorial district in general.”
Pastor Ipinsagba also used the opportunity to pay a courtesy visit to one of the leaders of APC in Akoko South East LG, Capt Oyepata, who promised to support the aspiration of Pastor Ipinsagba.
