Crest FM Akure, the ondo state capital has again proven its worth as a fast-rising media organization in Nigeria with two of broadcast Journalists got merit awards at the just concluded Primus media Awards organized for broadcasters between ages 18-30 in South West Nigeria.
The event held in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital last weekend had in attendance Management and staff of radio stations across the southwest region.
The two award recipients from Crest FM; Funmilayo Afolabi and Dayo Afolabi received an award in the listener’s choice category male and female (Osun, Ondo, Ekiti).
In a remark, Crest FM’s Chief Operating Officer, Adeolu Gboyega commended them for making the station proud, saying it’s a good achievement.
Receiving the awards, the award recipients thanked God, their family, and colleagues for the opportunity and the supports.
They also promised not to rest on their oars but rather strive for excellence at all times in the discharge of their duties.
