The Senatorial Candidate of the governing All Progressive Congress (APC) for Ondo North, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba, has applauded the Owage of Oge Kingdom, Oba. Alex Jimoh, on the sustenance of cultural heritage through the community’s annual Ere Okribo festival.
The candidate spoke on Saturday at the 2022 Ere Okribo festival held in Okeagbe in Akoko North West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Ipinsagba who expressed euphoria at the cultural exhibition fraught with kinetic performers, urged the agrarian community not to resort to conclusion that some traditions are downrightly prehistoric.
He also advised the people of Oge to eschew dissolute and degrading aspects of human nature, adding that it was imperative to change the some ugly narratives that have pervaded the entire polity, such as licentiousness and depravity.
Ipinsagba, who is also a Pastor, suggested that a multifaceted approach was needed to tackle the prevalence of vices in our society.
However, he prevailed on the residents of the clime to support the life-changing initiatives of the Akeredolu led administration and also key into the Governor’s REDEEMED agenda.
