It was a gathering of active members of the All Progressives Congress APC in Akoko Northeast local government as Honorable Feyisayo Ayodele who was an aspirant in the APC but lost the party’s ticket to represent the Akoko northeast constituency in Ondo State House of Assembly, brought them together for the progress of the party.
Honourable Ayodele said the essence of the meeting is to express his grievances pertaining to the process that made him lose at the party’s primary election.
Hon. Ayodele who claimed to have contributed immensely to the development of the party and Akoko northeast in general, said he joined the race for the state house of Assembly in the local government in order to continue his good deeds.
He however said he was sabotaged during the election by some party leaders, adding that he has resolved not to let the injustice go without taking proper steps.
A brother and political associate of Hon Ayodele, Prince Charles, who also spoke at the meeting, claimed that Hon Ayodele was robbed at the primaries by some members of the party.
The leader of Oyinmo ward in the local government, Hon. I.O Odonusi assured that Hon Ayodele has the support of the whole constituency in spite of the party issues.
Party members at the event unanimously agreed to work together for the good of the party.
