In the Nigerian Music Industry, it is safe to say that the YBNL boss, Olamide, Baddo as he is fondly called is a living legend in the Industry.Aside being a successful artist, the YBNL boss, Olamide has over the years made use of his record label to raise and promote youngsters.
1. Lil Kesh
Keshinro Ololade, widely known as Lil Kesh became a superstar in 2014. It is undoubtedly that Lil Kesh had a great run in his music career between 2014 to 2016. Prior to 2014, he had success on his single titled ‘Lyrically’ which made waves in Nigerian environments but his affiliation to YBNL immediately changed the trajectory he was heading.
Lil Kesh Hit songs are mostly party jam and that’s what the street enjoys most. After signing with YBNL, Lil Kesh released hit songs back to back, including Shoki – featuring Olamide on the remix, the song fetched Lil Kesh two awards as well as topping charts – Efejoku, Gbese, and his debut studio album titled ‘Yagi.’

2. Fireboy
“Fireboy DML” is no doubt the trend of the season in 2018 – 2019. All that was needed to make Fireboy DML’s talent known to the world was an appearance on YBNL Nation’s collaborative album in 2018 with the title ‘Mafia Family.’ Since the release of the song in 2019, Fireboy DML already built a buzzing fan base due to his brilliant performance on the song and affiliation to YBNL. Since then, his story has not remained the same.
He released ‘What If I Say’ with the video directed by TG Omori and then his debut studio album titled ‘Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps’ (LTG) without featuring any artist and managed to get over 6 million streams on Spotify three days after its release. Fire boy will be forever grateful to Baddo for his upbringing since he released ‘Jealous’ in 2018 to his best track now, which has undoubtedly pushed him to stardom.

3. Asake
It is of no news that Asake is one of the youngsters in the Nigerian music industry at the moment with a load of hit songs back to back which include Omo ope, Sungba, Terminator, Peace Be Unto You amongst others.
Asake keeps dropping sweet songs appealing to the ears with his first EP titted ‘Ololade Asake’ which had four songs on it and they were all great songs and followed it with his first studio album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibes‘ (MMWTV) which has dominated streaming platforms’ charts worldwide.
According to Asake,
“a call from Olamide changed everything”.
It is no doubt that Asake is indeed a blessing to the Industry as he is having a great year already.
