– Promise millions of naira to the ward with the highest number of voters
As the 2023 general election approaches, the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC for Ondo North, Pastor Jide Ipinsagba has stormed Ikado, his hometown for a rally, where mammoth crowd of supporters trooped out to identify with him from the nooks and crannies of Akoko North-East/West Federal Constituency.
At the rally were APC chieftains like the former Deputy Governor of the state, Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Taofeeq Abdulsalam, former Commissioners in the state, Barrister R.O Kazeem and Rasheed Badmus.
Others are the Educational Secretary for Akoko North-East, Hon. Adejoro Ganiyu, APC State Treasurer, Deacon Ishola Moshood, APC Chairman in Akoko North-East, Alhaji Saliu Mumeen, former Chief of Protocol to the State Governor, Hon. Abiodun Balogun, APC Presidential Campaign Coiuncil, PCC Youth Leader for Akoko North-West, Hon. Akadri Atinuke, as well as other leaders like Hon. Aiyegbusi Festus, Osugo and Tolorunju.
The former Deputy Governor eulogised other aspirants for stepping down for Ipinsagba at the APC primaries for progress, unity and development.
He said Ipinsagba had contested on three consecutive occasions, ‘’so we need to give him our unanimous support for him to come out victorious at the polls in 2023.
He also pledged to support the campaign with the sum of two hundred thousand naira.
On his part, the former speaker of the state assembly promised to give out free fuel to motorists monthly, from now till election day to support all APC candidates.
“We have every reason to rally round Ipinsagba This time around”, he said.
R.O Kazeem lamented that Owo/Ose and Akoko South have produced Senator, while it remains Akoko North Federal Constituency.
He said “it’s our turn. In the spirit of oneness, we must support Ipinsagba to be the next Senator representing Ondo North, because he deserves it this time around”.
