They stated unequivocally that the Ikare Chiefs and the Olukare family are solidly behind the continuity of the incumbent Governor, H.E Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa. They have thrown their unwavering support behind the Governor’s bid for a second term in office.
They made it abundantly clear that the royal house will not be dragged into any political machinations or “menace” by the PDP. He warned the opposition party in the strongest terms to steer clear of the traditional institution and its affiliates.
They emphasized that the Ikare Chiefs and the Olukare family remain committed to the progressive agenda championed by Governor Aiyedatiwa. They believe that the Governor has done a commendable job in steering the affairs of the state and deserves to be rewarded with another term.
