Operatives of the Ondo state command of Amotekun Corps have paraded forty- five criminals for different offences.
The suspects were arrested from different offences ranging from kidnapping, armed robbery, illegal possession of fire arms,attempted murder, Rape among others.
Among them is a six members of a gang who specialise in kidnapping in Ore
area of the state.
The state commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects normally hypnotize their victims before kidnapping.
Two suspects who attempted to kidnap a businesswoman in Akoko area of the state were also paraded.
As reported by an online medium (News Track), Some suspects were also paraded for allegedly snatching of motorbikes and attempted murder of their suspects in Oba-Akoko area of Ondo State.
According to the Corps Commander, the suspects usually killed their victims after snatching their motorbikes and subsequently dismantled the same for onward transfer to Ogun State and other neighbouring states as spare parts.
He disclosed that 25 among the suspects would be arraigned soonest as investigations on them have been concluded.
He declared that the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu had not relent on its determination to rid the state of undesirable criminals.
The Corps Commander implored the people of the state to join hands with all security agencies in the state to rid the state of criminal, saying the current slogan is “See something, say something.”
He urged the citizenry to endeavour to call the formation’s 08078888889 Emergency line whenever the see or notice any suspected moves in their areas.
