Oyo State has been declared by the federal government of Nigeria as the best Information Technology Compliance for year 2022.This is as the Pacesetter state just won the award for the most Information Technology Compliance State at the ongoing Digital Nigeria 2022 organized by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA).
The award was presented by the Hon Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Professor Isa Ali Pantami.
The award was received on behalf of the state by Hon Wale Ajani, the Director General of Oyo State liaison Office Abuja and Lagos.Speaking shortly after receiving the award on behalf of Governor, Ajani lauded the administration of Makinde for creating enabling environment for ICT and businesses to thrive.
Ajani said the feats achieved in the last three and half years of the present administration are been driven by science, data and logic as contained in the Governor’s Roadmap For Accelerated Development 2019-2023.Meanwhile, Hon Wale Ajani disclosed that Oyo state under the able leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde will host the 10th annual national council on communications and digital economy from the 5th – 9th December.
