PASTOR JIDE IPINSAGBA INAUGURATES CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE TODAY
In readiness for the coming general election in Nigeria, the PJI campaign Committee in Akoko North West Local Government Area has been inaugurated today.
The ceremony, which attracted large turnout of members and supporters of the Party in the local government area, has added vigour to the election bid of the APC candidate for Ondo North senatorial district Pastor Jide Ipinsagba.
In his address, the representative of the candidate, Hon Olusola Joseph Aladetimehin aka Ese-City, said the members were painstakingly selected from strong political and other interest groups in the LG. Added that the number was initially 5 per ward but will be increased to 10 per ward in other to give space for more people.
He vowed that the APC candidate is ready to work with all members of the committees in various wards in the LG to achieve the desired goal. He also enumerated some of the previous achievements of Pastor Ipinsagba which included presentation of welcome back to school bags and books to pupils in primary schools and presentation of bursaries to tertiary institution students.
Also speaking, the former Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Hon Rasheed Badmus urged the party members to learn how to forgive so as to move the party forward. He stressed further that the events that happened during the primary should be overlooked in order to move the party forward. He advised the leaders to go back to their various wards and units, stressing the need for hard work and dedication. He also advised that they should always of their son, Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo in all they are doing. Pointing to all works done by our MHR particularly that of Okeagbe to Afin which was constructed during the installation of Alafin of Afin Akoko.
Other leaders present at the event were : Alhaji Oloruntoba, Hon Azeez Awe, Hon Rahman, Hon Felix Ogunmilade, APC LG Excos led by the party vice Chairman, Hon Jamiu Bakrin and all APC ward chairmen in the LG.
