The Action Alliance (AA) Candidate for Akoko South West Constituency 1, Hon. Jayeola Sunday, has asked all his supporters to vote for Adeyeri Stephen Kunle in the February 25 general election.
Adeyeri Stephen Kunle is the Labour Party candidate for Akoko South West and South East Federal Constituency.
Speaking on Saturday, Jayeola said the development was a harbinger of better times to come, saying only the Labour Party candidate has capacity to turn around the ugly situation of the Constituency.
Jayeola noted that Adeyeri’s spirited efforts geared towards victory, particularly his visitation to markets and rural areas, spurred him to support the Labour Party candidate.
He said, “Adeyeri didn’t reach out to me, but I was moved by his campaign to markets and rural areas. Infact, when I listened to his manifestos, quickly I told my supporters that we will visit him this morning”
“No candidate is sincerely campaigning like Adeyeri. Infact, he is a good listener, very humble and generous.
“Truthfully, I didn’t negotiate with Adeyeri, I just love his concept and strong drive to oust the two major political parties.
When asked about his candidacy, Jayeola maintained that his endorsement of the Labour Party candidate had no effect on his ambition.
Responding, Adeyeri thanked the decision of the AA candidate for deeming it fit to endorse him despite their political differences.
However, he urged the residents Akoko South West and Akoko South East Federal Constituency to ink their thumbs for Labour Party in the coming election.
