The commandant of Ondo State Chapter of the Tantita Security Services, Senior High Chief Idowu Asonja, has applauded the Akeredolu-led administration for timely intervening in the repairs of the Alape-Araromi road.
Ondo State Government approved the repair and asphalt overlay of the 32.725KM road and work has since effectively commenced on the site, reaching approximately, 85% level of completion.
Senior High Chief Asonja had visited the site on Wednesday and made public his reaction wherein he commended the government for repairing the road which he described as having critical economic advantage of the state economy. He also applauded the role played by Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, led by Otunba (Hon.) Sam Erejuwa.
Asonja said: “The intervention of the Akeredolu-led administration in the repairs of Alape-Araromi Road is something that I appreciate very greatly as a person and which I believe is very much appreciated by the entire Ilaje citizens. Apart from the fact that the repair will bring a huge relief to the people in this axis, it will also contribute to the growth of the state economy.
“This is a clear demonstration of the love Akeredolu has for our people. It is also a show of seriousness and impact on the part of Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, OSOPADEC, under Otunba Sam Erejuwa, man whose strides are visible to all.”
