IPINSAGBA MOURNS AKINTELURE, COMMISERATES WITH FAMILY, ONDO APC .
The Senator representing Ondo North senatorial District in the National Assembly, Jide Ipinsagba has expressed sadness over the sudden death of one of the All Progressives Congress, APC Governorship aspirants in the forthcoming 2024 Guber election in Ondo state, Dr. Paul Akintelure.
Senator Ipinsagba, in a statement by his media aide, Prince Adeyinka Ajagunna, described the late Akintelure’s passage as painful considering his impactful imprints in growing the APC not only at the state level but also at the national level.
“I am grief for this sudden passage of our great leader, Dr. Paul Akintelure, whose contributions to not just APC but above all, party politics and democracy in Nigeria, cannot be quantified.
“His contributions to governance during the dark days of democracy cannot be overemphasized and i find it difficult to acknowledge that he will not be with us to compete in an election he has been seen as prepared for.
“My heart goes out to his family, the people of Igbotako in Okitipupa Local government, and the APC over the loss of this conscientious and patriotic Nigerian. He shall be sorely missed.”
