….He expressed his confidence that Aiyedatiwa will achieve a resounding victory in the upcoming November Gubernatorial election.
Former Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Abdulsalam Taofeek Olawale, extends his congratulations to His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the primary election, which took place on Saturday, 20th April 2024. The victory was officially affirmed by the Primary Election Committee Chairman, His Excellency Usman Ododo, the Executive Governor of Kogi State. Rt Hon Abdulsalam commends all other aspirants for their display of sportsmanship during the primary election and encourages them to continue supporting the candidate.
He praises the conduct of the primary election, specifically emphasizing the adoption of the “Direct Primary Election” method, enabling all eligible members and citizens to participate in selecting their favorable candidate. He perceives this methodology as a reinstatement of genuine democracy’s core values, emphasizing the paramount importance of respecting and prioritizing the voice of the populace.
Additionally, Rt Hon. Abdulsalam articulates his belief in Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa’s ability to secure a decisive win in the forthcoming November 2024 Gubernatorial election. He stresses that Aiyedatiwa’s success extends beyond personal achievement, representing a shared triumph for the citizens of Ondo State.
